Kia ora – I’m Kahli, a writer who was born in Canada, raised in Australia, and now lives in New Zealand.
My published professional work includes: short fiction, memoir, feature articles, interactive media and more. It tends to focus on nature, magic, youth and love, among other things.
As well as writing in the mornings and evenings, I work during the day for the regional film office in Queenstown, surrounded by the mountains and lakes of real-life Middle-earth. When I’m not writing or reading, I enjoy casual hiking, weekend road trips around the South Island, going to the cinema, and playing ice-hockey.
